Information about me.

Greetings! My name is Vladislav Gadalov. I have been engaged in computer science and engineering for more than 8 years, 5 of them have been research activities. My main aim is the creation of innovation software products that are useful for society. At the moment I'm engaged in research and development of software in such areas as: remote control systems, machine learning, bioinformatics, security systems for Web servers, distance learning etc. (for more details, see my projects below). Also, I am profoundly engaged in sports programming and algorithmization for the development of my scientific potential. I have repeatedly successfully presented my projects at various international conferences and competitions, such as: Intel ISEF 2015/2017 (Pittsburgh / Los-Angeles, USA), EUCYS 2016 (Brussels, Belgium), ICYS 2016/2017 (Cluj, Romania / Stuttgart, Germany), BaltKonkurs 2015/2016/2017 (St. Petersburg, Russia) and others. I hope this list will only increase in the future...

My awards Portfolio

Hobbies

and what I do.

The life of a modern person is often full of communication, work, creativity and sport. What do I do besides communicating with a text editor and the software development environment?

  • Web-Design

Web-design I have been doing for a very long time. At the moment this is more of a hobby than the main occupation. Web-design is very helpful in presenting my projects, because people love not only to listen a good speech, but also have a vizualization of some explanation. Also, it brings a good income, but it requires me as a performer of high quality and understanding of modern styles.

  • Swimming

Swimming is more to me than just doing sports. 8 years of swimming has worked out in me endurance and diligence. The last 3 years I additionally engaged in "Salvation on the waters". I believe that the skills of a rescuer are the duty of any professional swimmer. Several times I won competitions in both disciplines.

  • Chess

At this point I wanted to write "Mathematics", but still decided to stop on "Chess". The fact is that it was the occupation of chess from the age of 7 that taught me to think logically and to think things out a few steps ahead, which is so necessary in mathematics above the basic school curriculum.

Distance Learning System

Informatics-BY, 2014

Informatics-BY is my first serious IT project. This work is a distance learning system that allows students to be taught at home. Training materials are presented in the form of tests and PDF-documents, distributed by classes (courses). Also Informatics-BY has its own system of live broadcasts of lectures with the presence of online chat. Additionally, a testing system has been implemented to test the solutions for sports programming tasks, as well as a student rating and a system for exchanging personal messages.

Web Security System

Artemis Project, 2015

According to statistics, every day more than thirty thousand websites become victims of hacker attacks. The most common way to learn about these attacks, as well as to eliminate their consequences, the administrator can after a fairly long period of time, which leads to the inaccessibility of the site for a long time and, subsequently, to large financial costs.

Artemis Web Software - a software package for a variety of different CMS, which allows the administrator of any Internet resource or server to use the security system, being anywhere in the world, by communicating with the robot by SMS or call. In turn, the robot, in case of an attack, can chat of call to the owner of the resource and report the problem, as well as offer the methods for solving it. Methods for solving the robot learn from the administrators themselves using machine learning, who can train the security system in various ways to restore and avoid attacks. At the moment, Artemis has a knowledge base for thousands of different attacks and is updated daily.

Cross-platform cloud ecosystem

Geneces Project, 2016

Geneces is a cross-platform mobile application that is a cloud ecosystem. Under the ecosystem is meant the software and hardware environment of the user. Thus, Geneces allows us to conditionally limit the software and hardware capabilities of any modern portable device by using remote computing capabilities. This is achieved by transferring the result of the software execution in the form of image and sound from a remote server to the client device. In simple words, the client device does not perform any operations at all, but only obtains the result of execution on the Internet. To transfer data, a specially created office-oriented remote control protocol "Geneces RCP" is used, which is optimized for use in mobile 3G networks.

Cloud Generation Smartphones

AirPhone Project, 2017-2018

Today smartphones cannot match the capabilities of a personal computer. Also, the time of their use is limited to 1-2 days without recharging, and the cost in most cases is equal to the cost of a good laptop. To solve these problems I created AirPhone. The smartphone that can do everything while doing nothing.

The concept of creating AirPhone is based on Cloud Computing technologies. AirPhone puts all highly loaded tasks on virtual machines of the nearest remote server and just gets a picture and sound using the fastest in the world remote control protocol AirPhone RCP. This protocol has a number of my own algorithms for streaming images that even allow playing video in 3G network. I fully optimized the client part of the protocol for SoC used in AirPhone. The smartphone runs my own AirPhone OS based on Android which includes, among other components, a capability to use the smartphone as a PC system unit, an authorization system via voice call from a robot, and an application store allowing users to install applications into any remote operating system in a silent mode.

AirPhone Remote Control Protocol 2018: See a difference

AirPhone is a completely new concept of the smartphone. It performs almost all tasks, including running computer games, using remote computing power, thus reducing energy consumption and cost. Due to low energy consumption and a powerful 3500 mAh battery, AirPhone works in 2-3 times longer than a usual smartphone. I believe AirPhone is a smartphone of the future, so I plan to start testing the device soon in some countries.
